The first-ever Gear(y) Fest was a huge success, bringing more than 500 people through 225 Geary Ave, including musicians, engineers, producers, gearheads, makers, and community groups, to celebrate music gear, creativity, and connection.
Across three floors of the building, the day was packed with hands-on demos from pro audio manufacturers and boutique brands, plus a lively swap meet.
We’re grateful to everyone who came out for helping us create an event that felt both inspiring and connected. Big thanks as well to our partners in the building—Bedtracks, Division 88, Uma Nota Culture, Bonfire Arts Collective, and The Root Down Studio—and to all of the vendors, volunteers, and sponsors who made it possible.
Gear(y) Fest proved what 225 Geary is all about: where music, technology, and culture come together. We can’t wait to build on this momentum for the next one.
We’re already starting to plan the next Gear(y) Fest for Spring 2026. If you’re interested in participating as a vendor, sponsor, or community partner, reach out to Dave or Jeff at sales@omscanada.ca.
